As our technology and knowledge of medicine have advanced, modern medical care has become increasingly complex. Many situations present questions that do not have a “right” or “wrong” answer. Our goal is to form a relationship with every patient so that medical decision making is a shared experience. We want to empower patients by involving them in medical decisions related to their health. By focusing on this approach we are able to provide medical care tailored to each individual patient.
“We want a small practice where each patient is known to us personally. Having trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, we are specialists for patients of all ages. Our goal is to provide you and your children with the most up to date and personal care available.”
Physicians trained in Medicine and Pediatrics have completed a four-year residency consisting of 24 months each of internal medicine and pediatrics training. They have an extensive ambulatory experience providing comprehensive care to children and adults. Their training provides extensive experience in complex disease management of adults and children as well as developmental and behavioral problems in children, adolescents, and aging adults. Upon completion of training, Medicine and Pediatrics graduates may apply for board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. The synergy of training in the two disciplines creates a unique and diverse fund of knowledge which allows them to provide the best care possible for both children and adults.
